Finance materials in the Economic Times

Today, there is an ET debate on hedge funds, with three pieces by Samir Barua, Rashesh Shah and S. V. Prasad. And, Shaji Vikraman has an article on Bombay as an international financial centre.

  1. The ET piece does not look like a 'debate', since all three exponents are favorably disposed towards HFs.

  2. SEBI Chairman ahs made it very clear in an interveiw to a financial daily that good hedge funds are welcome. I think it is a good idea that these funds come directly in the market rather than making a backdoor entry.
