    Most of the Government offices in India both state and central government don't know what is personal data. In Europe even your birth data is personal data, which can't be used/taken without owner's approval. You can check election commission website you can get all people data with address, their family details with their address. Since I am from tamilnadu, I used to check tamilnadu state government website. If you check chennai corporation website, you can get the birth certificate of all kids. It contains the kids current address, parent name and their address with Aadhaar no of the parents.

  2. I have some solution for this. We should have strong data governance law and it should be implemented immediately because of digital india initiative. Else we will be in big trouble. Each government department should disclose the public about which data is taken from them by that particular department. Even sharing data between different department need approval from that particular person.
