If at all my Credit or debit card is used for a transaction I am subscribed for an sms notification as well as an email notification. I swiped my Citibank card in a Bharath petroleum bunk and It showed in edc as Rs 200 , and got sms notification stating Rs 200 had been charged . After 8 days when I noticed my statement found the charge to be Rs 211 , out of which Rs 1.5 would be credited back by Govt as per new law . This is utter nonsense , Banks and Govt playing around with Customers , If You really want to make India better , Be transparent , Advertise in TV channels like you do for (BS)ie Swatch Bharath . Swatch Bhrath means not only cleaning the roads and having toilets according to me , means clean Govt too . First clean your dirty pockets and hands and then come to us . I called my Citibank and she politely answered yes Sir we have our own allied Indian oil bunks where you won't be charged surcharge on your transaction . These things are very sensitive and you are taking money from my account and you have to notify me via sms or email. RBI sucks .
